AWS Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer to design, develop, and integrate event-driven applications on AWS. You will work closely with our platform and product teams to build scalable, serverless architectures that power our AI governance platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop event-driven serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related services
  • Build and maintain integrations between AWS services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway)
  • Write clean, maintainable Python code following best practices
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or GitHub Actions
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise application performance and cost

Required Skills

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AWS development
  • Strong proficiency in Python (primary language for Lambda functions)
  • Deep experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing patterns
  • Familiarity with AWS CDK or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
  • Understanding of IAM, security best practices, and least-privilege access
